Data we collect

• Account details: name, email address and login data.
• Content: the product photos you upload and the listings, images and posts we create.
• Usage: the actions you take, credits used and technical logs.
• Payments: handled by Polar, our merchant of record. We receive order details, billing country and tax, never your card number.
• Sign-up source and country, onboarding survey answers and, if you leave, your reason for leaving.

Why we use it

• To provide the service and your account (contract).
• To process payments, invoices and refunds (contract and legal obligation).
• To keep YelloShelf secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To understand how customers use YelloShelf and improve it (legitimate interest).
• Analytics cookies only with your consent.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run YelloShelf, listed on our Subprocessors page. They only process your data on our instructions. We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside your country. Where required we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Files are kept while your account is active. If your credits expire, your files are deleted 90 days later unless you buy credits again. When you delete your account we delete your content. We keep payment and credit records for as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to access, export, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@yelloshelf.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
